Taekwondo
Starting in grade 6, I began taking Taekwondo as a means of getting fit, while learning self defense. Before I knew it, I was starting to enjoy it and began climbing the belt ranks. Fast forwarding to the beginning of grade 12 I successfully pass my Black belt test and continue to attend classes as a way to ensure I am active.
Altar ServingFollowing in the footsteps of my dad, I had a strong connection with God which led me to become an Altar Server. This ensured that my faith in God would grow as time went on and helped me get though tough times. After many years of Altar Serving, I was encouraged to try new things such as my next activity, lectoring.

Lectoring
Lectoring required me to learn a different way of projecting my voice, rather then just reading words I had to give meaning to the words. This helped me develop a voice suitable for presentations and habits such as reading an article multiple times to find it's true meaning. Lectoring was another way of strengthening my faith, while altar serving was serving God, lectoring was speaking for God.
